I am running Windows XP with Direcway Satellite Speed is 54.0 Mbps on linksys wireless. If I hardwire ican get 100.0Mbps. I just recently upgraded to the beta 4 so far im loving it.  My question is can to tell me the best way to configure my winmx for optimal performance on what I am running. I also downloaded Sherwood.

With this system im running should I connect primary or secondary? Proxy No Proxy. I would very much if you please help me to set my winmx for the system I am running from scratch ie begining to end for optimal performance for my system.

definately secondary on a satelite connection due to the extreme lag on the connection, as for the connection speed - you are seeing the speed of the connection from your computer to the router if you are just looking at the speed windows reports

that bandwidth page will test how fast your upload bandwidth is and suggest the correct setting for the bandwidth throttles, although to be honest it hasn't been tested on a connection that laggy, in fact the laggiest connection it's been tested on was dialup :-S
