I am able to download, but my dload rate is very slow. I have a DSL connection. I can't seem to get a fast enough download ratewhen i am downloading from another user with DSL or cable.

I am getting speeds between 5kbps and 25 kbps. Is ther anyway for me to maximize this using WINMX settings?

max theres quite a few things it cud be causing ur problem   coem into

problem? if you're getting 25k/s off of cable/DSL users then there is no problem, the average user has 256k upload, which is about 30k/s... so if they even have just 2 uploads going it would only be 15k/s, remember you are downloading from users - they can't send as fast as perhaps a download site with its extremely expensive networks and connections...
