Folks I have some bad news to pass on to you all, the lively WinMX character, programmer (and WCS guardian) "Raven" is believed to have passed away on the 18th of last month (December)
This is a sad shock to us all here and I hope you will join with me in passing on our condolences to her family and spare a few minutes to remember her and the good memories we all have of her online presence both on the forums and in the chatrooms over many years.
May you rest in peace Faye (Raven), your memory will live on in us all.

When I first heard about this I was in disbelief. I didn't believe it until I read the obituary.
I don't know what to say other than to rest in peace, and that you will be missed and remembered for years to come.

I'm very saddened and shocked to learn about Ravens passing... sincerest condolences to all her family and friends, this is a sad day for WinMX
I got to know her over the last year or so due to her and minds work on WCS and am glad to have had the chance to get to know her.I admire the way she voiced her opinions and stood up for what she believed in no matter what. She wasn't around WinMX as long as a lot of us, but was eager to learn and in turn help as many people as she could with her knowledge of WinMX.Being as opinionated as she was, she sometimes rubbed people the wrong way, but her opinions were always for the good of WinMX and her concern for the users. She wore her emotions on her sleeve and i'm sure that if she was cut she would bleed the red and green of WinMX.You'll be sadly missed my friend, have a safe journey home
You may be gone but never forgotten

The loss of a WinMx user is always a sad event, but one that was prepared to help other users is particularly sad. Rest in peace Raven.

A room of condolence/memorium has been opened up by some of Ravens friends, any folks who want to talk about Raven and perhaps share some of the good times with others is advised to pop by and I,m sure will be warmly welcomed.
RIP Raven_1AD92BD0FADE
Its still a shock to me and many others here, this is a great way to pay your respects to her, my commendations to those who have created this room.
