Cant establish a connection

I just got my internet rehooked up today..I cant get my winmx to connect...It is set up on a secondary connection, and I have no clue how to set it up to work with my dynamic ip for my cable connection....It has been trying to connect for hours on end .... Is there some one who can help me???

have you installed the winmx patch to get reconnected to the new peer caches?

I have an unusual problem. When I connect My Open Nap Servers, after awhile my winmx gets disconnected and shows connecting .. but it never connects. I have to Restart MX and then it works fine.

Please Help Me With This.

Hi \\P/othead, could we have some details of your system please like WinMx version, Operating System, patch type host /dll , connection type (DSL/Dial up/Cable ) and whether the system is on a network or router.  

I use open nap myself and have been ok on it so far, how many open naps servers are you locked into when this happens and can you confirm your not doing a search at the time or have incompletes in your winmx transfers window, that may be suddenly be experiencing activity just before the crash.
