They still show up in library but nothing happens when I click "load incomplete"......anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Are your incompletes in the folder where WinMX is looking for them?

Library and Incomings folders are not always the same...

Say your incompletes are stored in C:/A Folder you must tell winmx that that is where they are...

In WinMX Settings, File Transfers, at the top, it tells you where it will put incoming files, and where it will look for your incompletes, is it set to C:\A Folder ? (or whatever folder you are actually using)

If you are using Windows Vista, MX will be looking for C:\My Documents\My Music, but vista does away with the 'My' in the folder names, which wont help either

Why not pop into the Help room WinMXWorld.com Help_AE182F4EBABE for some live help to sort the problem?

In my experiance when this happens just make a new folder move your shares to it and point your winmx to it by going to library click on add folder and find the new folder you made .... then remove the default folder that was your shares folder.
This problem has cropped up many times in the past and this is a easy fix for it.

Was not meaning to step on any toes here just offering up a different way of getting to the same ends without the need to go to the help room (afterall that is what we are here for) used to have a lot of people have this problem when i used to run rooms on winmx and found the above the easiest way of explaining to them how to fix it without them getting confused to much.

Shame winmx cant be changed to make its own default folder on setup instead of it being My Music..... I should imagine any coders working on any new clients will change this in the future anyway as its always been a little niggle since the advent of vista (sometimes even had problems with xp default folder as well)

I am having a problem with the incompletes loading since my ISP changed from McAfee to Norton for the security suite. I bring up Winmx, and the transfer screen is completely blank. I click on Load Incompletes, and it does for the moment. A few minutes later, the incompletes just disappear. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

hiya joey can u do me a favour and go to your winmx and check your settings for me and click on :

File Transfers

and see if Clear incomplete Uploads After 300 seconds. is ticked

if so untick it and then reload your incompletes again
