What it wants most is an open and honest debate, especially considering the legislation now includes website filtering and a ban on open Wi-Fi in addition to a a “three-strikes” regime that would disconnect accused file-sharers from the Internet. “We want a debate,” it says.
“After the budget, the Bill could be passed with little or no debate, as the election must be called within the next few weeks. The result could be that the Bill becomes law in very bad shape.”
