OK I've been using MinMx for some time now but I'n not very tech savvy. I don't want to be a leach though so I need to ask what do the red and green checks and X's for in the library/shared button mean?

I get that a red x means it's not being shared, but what's the difference between a green checkmark and a fully green box?  I've noticed that if you sort the column according to the shared status, the red boxes will be on the bottom, the green checks will be in the middle, and the green boxes will be on top.  This does signify that there is some difference between a green check and a  green box.

So what's the difference?  Anyone got any clues?

Hi ShaniaFan001,

I wondered this same thing recently playing with the settings and adjustments on the 3.54 beta 4 version.  From what I have gathered so far, this is a way to differenciate between files types that are set for each folder as shared and files that you have clicked on the check box to share.

I have been running 3.53 myself mostly and will have another look at this to see if I can get any more info on it.... I hate that I dont know.. lol

Will let you know what I find out on it.. or maybe someone that uses this version more can shed some light on it for us..

The difference is easy actually:
A green box means the folder settings will be overridden, the file is being shared no matter what you set the folder to.
