Very strange behavior sometimes.

A user, let say mr.X is in my queue at place number 5. Whois responds and I can also browse the list of this user. When browsing I see Mr.X has a file that I'm downloading already so I can add Mr.X.

After doing so, I come in the remote queue of Mr.X (place 68) and try to start the transfer (my upload). The upload doesn't start, it disconnects directly. Why??

This happens not always but from the 10 times I start the upload manually, 4 disconnect directly, 2 time out (while waiting for incoming connection). But I can do a whois and get an answer, can browse their list....

I'm still wanting a satisfactory explanation for 'Connection Refused' by someone that I give a start to...

But hey, this is our dearly beloved WinMX...

"Connectin Refused" happened to me from time to time as well. Got a message from a user about why, he was using MXMonitor and I was kicked out by MXMonitor. After stopping that program, everything went well (the up- and download).

I have a new PC now and I am on Windows 7 my server is Talk Talk with a modem
I am using Firefox & Internet explorer..

So here i go again,I still have no WinMx

I download it ok but then it will not let me upload/download anything ho man what can I do as I don`t like other music/movie programs only WinMx...

I have deleted WinMix en restated no end of times with no joy
