Sonic Digital Media LE v7
this program came with my Dell Dimension 3000 puter.
it does what it does well, but it seems to have an issue that i don't know how to get around.
if i drag and drop files from win explorer IN THE ORDER I WANT THEM ON THE DISC i'm burning, the resulting cd has file in A DIFFERENT ORDER, an alpha/numeric order as one would find in win explorer.

now one would think that if one dragged files in a certain order, then you'd have a disc with the files in the same order, but that does not seem to be the case.

anyone have any ideas?
btw i'm burning mp3 files on a cd for playback in an mp3 cd player...

thanks

Marshal copies of the files together in a folder temporarily, & rename them 01 <Existing Filename>, 02 <existing filename 2>, etc., then burn from there..

There may be some other way, but that's sure to work.

true, and to be honest, it never occured to me...

just seems a waste to place songs in the order you want them and the program disregards that....

thanks.
