Better hurry! It's catching on quickly  :o I can't help but watch and listen as these people have figured out how to take multiple disk drives and make them into a musical instruments! The Queen Bohemian Rhapsody one is way out there, he is using printers, disk drives, a bed scanner and it sounds spot on....

is this the singing steppermotor (scanner and floppy) and audio dumped into hdd voice coil (hdd with top missing... actuator moving randomly.. platter not spinning) ?

search 'singing scanner' on youtube youll see it all over the place.... it dates back further than you think too... there were programs that could make the c64 drive 'sing' (tho could knock it out of alignment doing so) and the amigas drive too... using the spindle motor rather than the head stepper motor (could only hear the tune with a disk in the drive)

theres also a vid of mario bros tune being played on 3 tesla coils....
