I dunno about all this talk about snow at christmas

question from someone not well versed in aussie weather... is it possible for it to snow in southern oz? or does it just not snow in oz at all?

It snows in the south eastern extremes of oz at high altitudes, but not at christmas, it the whole tilt of the planet thing.
