Is the WinMX block list for Peer block working? Tried to update today and would not connect.

Hi Steed_and_emma, I just did a check from here to confirm that the lists are operating and they are fine, was there a specific link you where having problems with ?

PS : I checked the WinMxGroup location and found it had moved here

Double check that location for the relevant links, they are currently working also

I have been using the following link and it's been connecting properly with Peer Block 1.1 but today it just connects and starts downloading but never completes the update.

The links from Peer Block complete OK, it's just the WinMX one above that does not wrap up and complete correctly.

I have tried your link and it's got the same problem.

considering it doesnt get updated that often to begin with (if the file hasnt changed peerblock wont re-download it) you could right click and save-as then add the local file to pb...

pb itself might need a 'scrub' ... open the pb program folder and delete the .list files in the 'list' directory and the cache.p2b file in the main one.... pref with pb not running... restart pb and click 'check for updates' ... since it doesnt have any local data it will be forced to re-download...

also.. link works for me too so... something is wrong on your end...

checked error logs, nothing on the site is showing any errors??

Strange behaviour on the interwebs between you and my server possibly?? I know the server has been on-line OK all day as ive been logged into it all today. I'm writing some new scripts but I haven't ran anything to cause any issues???

Pm me the IP you use to download the list, ill see if i can find you in logs and see what happened

Hello -- thanks all for the input.

I was going to try giving PB a scrub as suggested, but then as if by magic I was able to update PB without a hitch this morning.

Odd behavior. I asked my better half if she restarted the PC, but no, it's been up and running 24/7.
