Problem with Winmx upon start-up

Need help.  Winmx set-up OK.  Shuts down almost immediately as soon as it is opened.

- Internet connection type             Cable
- WinMX Version                           3.54
- Secondary or primary user         Secondary
- What make of firewall you have  Cisco
- Router brand and model             D-Link DI-704
-Router Settings                           TCP 6699   UDP 6257
- Any WinMX add-ons installed      None

Hi Dodgeman, are you receiving any sort of error message before the WinMX program closes ?
There was a problem with 3.53 closing as you described but 3.54 was released to fix that.

Have you tried reinstalling the app ?
A common reason for the app crashing before connecting to the network is spyware, for some reason it blocks all the winsockets  and prevents WinMX operating correctly.
