hiya everyone i just came back from being gone for three months and i can not get fxs to connect keeps giving me the ole host files cant be found can someone tell me how to fix it please thanks so much have a great day

my computer has been off for 3 months i just turned it on so i dont think it needs a reboot lololol

Try placing >>THIS FILE<< in the folder that has your FXS.exe

Restart the server and see if that works.

what version of fxserv are you using?

it does it to me too ... regardless if the file named 'hosts' is in the directory or not and it seems to ignore ws2_32.dll .... tested using 1.3.9

Winmxgroup was down? Could of been that? try again see if its not working?

Also there was a fxserver that was released that deliberately blocked the WS32.dll from being loaded.
The hostfile mod will work though for that version.
