The channel list is not showing can be caused by the ports you are using being not open properly perhaps a firewall or router issue to be checked ?
What version of WinMX are you running and do you have a router, also are you using the standard ports ? (6699 TCP and 6257 UDP ).
Oh one more thing are you on primary or secondary Emerson ?
