I think you have described the current ones fine, we still need to look ahead at future updates and network stability/security measures so as always if you have a great idea free it from your mind and it will take on a life of its own , I'm very pleased we are reaching the stage where we have scope for improvements and options for the future, prior to this month we have been fighting a rear guard action, soon we go on the offensive  :)

I too am curious about the open source question. Will the client be made open source upon release and also will this be hosted on Github? (It's a lot better than Source Forge)

As many will appreciate the choice of src forge as a base for the client was made many years ago, back so far even that the project was only going to be a for-fun secondary client, since then we have had attacks on the network that have wrought havoc and lost us many users all simply to satisfy a little mans selfish whim.

Getting to the point ...  The head developer will have the final say on when and where the source is going to be handed out as his experience exceeds mine manyfold, my only aim in all this now is to reach some sort of stable build that's releasable to the general public and at that stage I expect many hands to join the work, many folks have talked about being given a chance to do things, a src release will be a good time for those folks to show their talents and put something back into the community that will in turn enlarge the community even further, a win win situation and room for all to shine.

Don't share the source unless it's very very safe to do, no one want this stupid childish flooding one more time...

The src will not be released until protocol level changes have been made to the primary network side of the client, this has been discussed and planned for, theres little point in handing network damaging code to anyone so the decision was made some time ago that there would be no src released until we had removed the current attack vectors and replaced them with a new method that was not open to such trivial abuse.

Everythings going according to plan atm.

... if more then ... 50% unfinished files, auto ignore... ?
xx% variable, sadly there is too many who don't want share files, you know what i mean
like a warning first (3 times ?) then kick/ignore time ignore ? 2h/10h etc etc

Some open slots, several, can client meet it ? it can be done.

yes please both... who said this ?

first the working client, then this implant in next upgrade ?

I might give my free time to code little, or/and other helpfull stuffs.

not to say that I'm taking off here, well...  just THAT is something I actually CAN do :)   land as well, with both feet, and all wheels.

No.

You guys rewrote the client since the last time I saw it a few years ago? Cause I remember at that time you said it was based on RoboMX.
