Batman came into the helpdesk, stated to the staff “I’ve caught this one for you” and then promptly vanished into the night to fight crime and the fear of crime in Bradford. The whole bizarre incident was captured on CCTV… The wanted male, a 27yr old from the Buttershaw area was detained until the morning when he was escorted to court in Grimsby as he was also wanted for an offence in that area also. This post is meant as a bit of a light hearted news.

I saw the picture.  It raises questions.  Questions like:

  • What caused somebody to actually GO to a police station with a guy dressed in a batman costume from what....the 1970's?
  • Why did the police not detain them both?
  • What.  In.  Theeeee.  Hell.  would cause someone to actually slide into some tights....try and 'detain' someone, then deliver him to the donut shoppe?  Does this guy not know that he's gonna come forward as "That Guy"?
  • What did he threaten the guy with?  One can only imagine...

I give him kudos....but I doubt his grasp of what he's just done........

i heard on the news here that the guy was going to voluntarily hand himself in and his mate came up the idea to dress up as batman and make it look like a hand over

That sounds fairly reasonable.

Its better to hand yourself in and mount a defence if possible that it is to run and be hunted, thats a life built on sand.

This reminded me of the other batman the police met up with ...

This one was delivering presents and of course himself to the hospital to cheer up sick children.

Anyway back to the comedy ...

This is from the UK Tv show only fools and horses and features the two dodgy dealing brothers dressed up in fancy dress when their inane vehicle of choice hits the dirt.

Ahhhh, see now....that would make some sense.  I wonder what normal guy did that he needed to spot by the cop shop to turn himself in....

Any ideas?

maybe he stole a batman outfit

Possibly.  I do know what he DID steal though.   15 minutes of fame.

All us super heroes wear costumes to keep our identities secret when handing villains over to the police; if we don't wear a costume we get stuck with hours of paper work.
