files turning red after 99% and restarting back at 0% and 0% data?

Just got new P.C. and re-loaded Winmx. 
Once a file downloads and reaches 99% it turns red and file fails to complete. If restarted it starts all over again back at 0% with no saved data?
I get close but never a completion?
Checked fire wall, Winmx settings and believe it must be P.C..
 I use Malwarebytes and may be the suspect although had Malwarebytes on last P.C.?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
 Up til now I  have had no problem downloading files except the normal stuff everyone else experiences with the clutter of junk and slower speeds.
A completed download is all I seek!

Problem solved.
After much searching and thread reading using combos of different suggestions helped and with new PC downloads now flying!
Ended up uninstalling, creating new account and re-installing but making sure to have files sent to "my name, My Music" instead of default file.
I believe Windows 7 default file would not let download complete to 100% by not allowing it to change file name????
Its a guess but it is working now.

P.S. open Nap protocol is only way to go (screw the clutter)
Love Winmx.! Old schooler and been using site for over 12 years and would love to see it continue.
