I am having problems d/l and u/l and even chatting with my d/l wont even start at all!!! and my u/l used to be 55+ and it want even go to 5 stays at .13 and 0.00

i just clean my computer bc there was viruses and it didn't fix anything when they were gone

and now... when i chat on a Winmx room i have lots of lag.. and can't host anymore.. bc of it..

it really bad.. bc i have lag when the host are so good... Can AnyOne Help me Please!!

Is this only with WinMX, or also with other programs? It sounds like something must be limiting the speed. If users can connect and download, then I don't think it is a firewall/router issue. That's all I can say. I'm afraid I can't help you with this.. maybe someone else can

This is Only With Winmx... I have great speeds every where else

and i dont have a router and i opend my ports on my Firewall.

There are lots of reasons that you might be experiencing this problem Darkness.

One is some of the ISP's out there are blocking certain ports, although this is usually not affecting peoples downloads. You can try changing your port numbers in WinMX to see if this helps you, click Changing Your Portsettings to learn how.

Another is yes the evil spyware

, unless you have run some programs like Adaware , Spybot S&D to get rid of any hidden files running and steeling your bandwidth.

Also be sure to not only run your Anti-virus you have on your computer but also do an online scan too, like one of these Trend Micro Virus Scan and BitDefender Online Virus Scan.

Be sure you have run both of those spyware programs while in Safe Mode and do the online scans.

If you do this and its still the same then I suggest you come by the room on WinMX and let us help you test your speeds.

I have all the anti spy ect.. i will try what you recomended.. i also called my ISP and asked if they was blobking ports and they said that theye have not blocked anything... I am still so confised.. becasue speed use to be so good

I hope i get this ficed soon.. ty you all for your help... I am on a mission to save my Winmx!!!

Hey again,well i fixed it after a long time,but i got a new 200gig hd and the same thing happedn to me again the same thing so i did what i did befor and no luck,I am super sad

i was having such good times again! I want my WinMX back

please help me again!!
