BendMX (again)

i see many posts about bendmx not workin with a patched version of winmx, as you know, it overwrites the .dll file and renamin the file doesnt work, any ideas on how to make bendmx work with a patched winmx?
also, any plans to release a patched installer of bendmx, as it would be far easier to install

You need to have BendMx installed before installing the latest patch.
I haven't tried it myself but according to KM it can detect both BendMx and RCMS being installed.
It will change the name of the .dll's in a way that avoids overwriting them and still make things work.

IF you have troubles with that method you can also use this link for instrctions of installing the patch with them manually.

https://www.winmxworld.com/tutorials/bend-rcms_with_dll.html

There are also issues with BendMx and 3.54 Beta 4 having problems, its suggested to use 3.53 if your one that is not able to run it with 3.54.

the lastest patch doesnt work for me the way you say it does  :(   and i already checked out that link about renamin the file, it doesnt help alot cos winmx wont read ws2_32r.dll as the patch, and does it make a diff if i use another drive for my OS other than C:?

Install bend first THEN patch, that will save patch being overwritten, if bend overwrites patch, just reinstall patch (it won't break bend)

Remaking the patch when all you need do is rename it is a bit more then is needed at the moment...

Smokey do me a favor please.

Install BendMX, shut down your WinMx when this is finished.

Now download and save this file to your \Program Files\ WinMx Folder:
https://www.winmxworld.com/files/ws2_32.dll

Rename the above file to as shown below :

Now restart your WinMX.. all should be right with the world if you rename it properly..
