After January 12, 2016, Microsoft will no longer provide updates for
older versions of Internet Explorer (IE). One estimate suggests that as
many as 124 million users are running Internet Explorer versions 10 and
earlier. The only version of IE that will continue to receive updates
after January 12, 2016 is IE 11.
