Numbers on my channel server changed.

Hey guys, it's me again. I have a static IP set on my laptop from my network connections. I had to restart my computer. Same IP address used but after i restarted the Ouka Chat Server. I noticed my channel name numbers changed at the end. Why did they change even though it's using the same IP? Thanks for any comments or suggestions. Cam.

that was the port numbers changing... the hash in a winmx channel name contains ip address and port of the server so that it can connect..

note: if the new port is not forwarded through the router ppl will not be able to connect, its advised to manually set your port number..
