From many Frenchs:
It is possible to put a password to enter in a WCS room? I say no.

But if KM want, maybe it can be a good idea...

Possibly not possible, but I bet scripting metis to auto-boot you if you didn't send it password within pre-determined time from entering would be pretty streightforward

It Is possible as FXServ and Rose both have option to password protect entry into room....

But I always found it to be a waste of time as soon the password will be leaked and before you know it the leeches are back....

My prefered method is to make regular room and then have your special users /opmsg passphrase to get exiled to private room not listed in WPN...

I also know some rooms who give no access at all as a default - you need to login to talk. That doesn't prevent others from coming in, but they can't spam your room or anything

Do you want to have a password for the WCS Chat Server ? Simply open a private room keeping your server offline. You don't want people to enter your room, so avoid to add your room in the roomlist. There is no need to have rooms in the channel list we cannot enter in (IMHO).

Though KM could do the job...

agreed, that's why i never put a password option in it
