up untill today my mx was working fine but now after a few minutes i get the message that it has encounted a problem and needs to close any ideas

did you install anything or change anything recently? (for example installing IE7, a very specific example, but one which would cause that to start happening)

Did it happen once or does it happen frequently? Once or twice is ok, but if it happens too often, then its a problem.
If frequent, try reinstalling winmx, some files could be missing or corrupted.
Reconnect to winmx with the blocking patch :)

Hi my winmx is not connecting anymore since I tried to load my web camera on its just flashing yellow all the time any ideas on how to sort it out so I can download music again?

my first advice would be to re download and install the patch from here:

www.winmxgroup.com/

Then restart your WinMx .. let us know if it continues

I'm having the same exact problem  never had it b4 until today.    Can't stay in Chat  can't DL   tells me encountered error  and boots me out of winmx completely.

Vikki can you give us a bit more information about your system.

What operating system do you have, XP, ME .. ?
What patch are you using?
Have you recently installed IE7?
Do you have any incompletes in your transfers screen?
