I have a primary connection and at the top appears

P=6 S=0

it was mentioned by mc that this is a problem - how -
what now - what does it mean?

Means you have an unforwarded or blocked TCP port, a problem with either modem/router setup or firewall, it also means nobody will be able to download from you.

Tell us more information about your set up Aniccia..

Do you have a router?
Do you have a dsl modem?
What firewall do you use?
Do you have Norton 2005+ ?
Remimd us what operating system you have also.

Then we can get you started on opening them..

I am on broadband with a ADSL Router - DSL 502T
OP is XP
disabled firewall in IE
running AVG

Ok Aniccia,

Sounds like your blockage is more then likely in that ADSL modem..

Start here so that you can find your WinMX Ports and your Internal IP..

https://www.winmxworld.com/tutorials/routers_info.html

This will then guide you on to http://www.portforward.com/ where you will need to look up your modem,
and follow the instructions for your router.

You will need to forward a port for TCP and UDP..
