i hope you can help me...ive downloaded the room filler for my fx server put it on port 6698.....windows r blocking it cant verify the publisher...is there an way to by-pass it ty

got it, but what's this all about?

'ROOM-FILLER-1.5.EXE' from your computer wants to connect to c-*.hsd1.wa.comcast.net [*.*.*.*], port 80 and 82

I thought it was supposed to connect to my wcs server, not your computer.

What sort of information is passed back to you? Obviously the IP.

what else is sent back to you? wcs port? room name? clone names? anything else? like joins and messages?

Josh would it not be in the best interests of the users for you to remove this function ?
Its not really necessary to have it set up like this, perhaps a small box that says "check for updates" would be more user friendly ?

This phonehome does not appear to be limited to a mere version update check.

The connection is maintained. I logged over 250 packets before i decided to kill it.
