winmx disconects every few hours and reconects again, my DL and UL workes fine, when i am conected
this problem stared a month or two ago, i think i`ve tried everything i know, i got a new pc now, and the same happends. i`m running on XP sp2, pie patch 2,5- winmx 3.54 beta 2.2 nomx patch , i tried to read me to a solution here but can`t find it out, so i need help now....

Are you on secondary or primary ?
Who is your ISP?
Do you just loose WinMx or do you loose connection to the net also?

hi there again, thanx for the reply
i am on a secondery conection now, only mx disconects, everything else runs fine, sometimes if i download while it disconects the download keeps running, but i loose m que list. it reconects after a few seconds again, also it seems that people are having trouble to get in que from me. i tried primary but i cant get any seartchs then.

Ok..

Heres what I want you to do:

Make sure your running WinMx 3.54 beta 4 version.
Make sure your WinMx says at the top 'Currently blocking flooders to protect the network'.
If it says 'Please be patient' redownload the patch only from here:
www.winmxgroup.com/

Make sure you have no color codes like #c23# << etc in your nickname, no characters such as ascii art like gõñ.
Dont run any third party apps like Bendmx, MXMoni, Leechammer.

Did I read correctly and you're using the pie patch AND the 2.2-no-mx patch?
You shouldn't use both at the same time as they tend to conflict, please try removing one of them.
This should help you to get a more stable running winmx.
As to your problem, is your winmx disconnecting completely or are you referring to it cycling connetions, i.e. showing "connecting..." in the title bar and it latching on to a new primary every few hours? Cause that itself is normal, it just depends on how many primaries are available in your vicinity and that may vary. In my experience it's quite bad on the weekends and ok for the rest of the week.
