:shock: Hiyas everyone

looking for some advice

Have downloaded a few movies but when i play them on my media player they are upside down - after searching through all of the option on Media player I cannot fathom out how to turn the burgers the correct way around - Anyone with any help or tips out there - I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

it depends which codecs and filters you are using to play the video (varies depending on which codec pack you have got), if for example you are using the FFDShow filters then in the Configuration menu > Image Settings > Overlay > Output tab tick Flip video. If you have any other filters installed then they should have a similar option (although you can of course just install FDDShow)

:lol:Thank you very much for your help - but I have my media player set to install the codecs and with 1 of the films its using a dvdx codec (I think that it uses which ever one it can to play any particular movie) and I do have ffdshow also but it doesn't always configure to play with Every film that i watch - Anymore tips - You seem very clued up on this thanks so far for your help :shock:

Did you try going to the video menu in WMP and deactivate overlay?
That should deactivate anything the codec does to your movie...

I've had this problem myself, & found, interestingly, that without changing anything about filters, overlays, settings etc. sometimes Windows Media Player wil play the file upside down & another player, shows it the right way up, since most people have several players installed (they seem to breed), just try with some different ones...
