While I am sure this is a publicity stunt by the band, I feel that offering a musical work for free download is mutualy beneficial and welcomed by music lovers.
http://www.tenmiletide.com/music.phpTen Mile Tide recently recorded a brand-new, self-titled album, the MP3s for which they are planning to post for free download on their website on June 25th—three years to the day that the RIAA announced their lawsuits against music lovers. “We’ve never been in this for the money. We want people to hear our music and sing it back to us when we come though their town. People buy CDs and come to our shows because they love our music, not because we’ve scared them into it,” says Kessler.
If you like their music folks then you can as usual puchase it via their website, this is how things should be in the music industry, let folks sample the goods and reward the arist for their hard work instead of a Mr 90% middleman, cheers to the guys in the band for this welcome gesture
