Winmx doesn't connect, I've been trying 2 days. Left it on all night, still blinking yellow no matter what I try.

I've rebooted, I've restarted winmx several times. Internet works fine for everthing else.

did you get your winmx from www.winmxgroup.com? if not download it from there & try again, otherwise can we have some more information please? windows version, firewall in use, av program in use

(My question got posted 2x, I couldn't find it again so I reposted, sorry)

The website you gave wants a fee before I can download, or am I in the wrong place?

Winmx 3.53
Windows xp pro 2002 sp2
Sygate firewall (I checked, yes winmx is still allowed to connect)
Windows firewall is disabled
Computer - AMD Athlon 2.17 ghz 512 memory
Antivir antivirus, updated a couple days ago

www.winmxgroup.com certainly don't want a fee, if you're anywhere that does want a fee they're trying to cheat you..
with that setup you should be able to choose the "i already have winmx" option, although if you choose the main download link, chances are it will also upgrade your winmx to 3.54, which has a greatly improved library function (the shared files bit)

For some reason, that was a different page. Don't know how I got to the first one.

I downloaded 2.54, made a new install, and it seems to be working. Thanks SO much!

Should I also dowload and install the patch?
