Does any1 know how 2 do an auto redirect from a room hosted on MCS to a room thats hosted on WCS, when ppl enter the room?

Ive tried metis but u have 2 use the server 2 redirect, so is there a way 2 make the server do it on its own?

you cant...

unless of course you modified the server to send a redirect packet down during the redirect, but why would you want to do that anyway? just have the other room hosted on a program that lists the room itself and you dont need redirects

most chat servers should be able to list the room, so you dont need to have a redirect room to get in to them

Ah i think i aint explained myself properly here

The reson im askin how 2 redirect n that is cuz i see rooms on the cannel list that say there hosted on MCS but when i enter the room its actualy run on WCS

I thought that i was being redirected 2 another room when i entered but it seemes there is something else goin on.

Can u please explain how this is posible?

they have disabled the listings in WCS, and have instead modified MCS to list the wrong port, it makes no sense really as it just uses additonal bandwidth to do the same thing...

Hi Zeus what KM means is that its not very clever to have so many rooms on the list that all feed into one as you mentioned .

I agree with him, you can get more than one room name in the listing using WCS, so having many more is not only wasteful for the host and annoying for others, its reserved for those who are not the sharpest tools in the shed.
