PG2 is at best only partially effective.. which we've been saying for some time.
3 primary connections, that takes around 5 seconds hereyou are now claiming to get legitimate secondary users in less than 5 seconds? (she said "by the time" meaning before that...)
Distribution of Internet Viruses, Trojan Horses, Spyware, or Other Destructive Activities: Distributing information regarding the creation of and sending Internet viruses, worms, Trojan Horses, pinging, flooding, mailbombing, or denial of service attacks. not going to post a reply in the thread on the public forum? what a shame you ran off without replying to it.... oh well I'm sure the forum can probably just about survive without your input
no, cuz i live up to my word, i won't be back for a while...glad you lived up to my word too...you flamed but plz, do answer my question for me instead of ignoring it like you normally doyou're implying that everyone using ruraltel and using pie patch withpg2, is somehow dos attacking users?
anyone hosting flooders is participating in a distributed denial of service attack against multiple targets, that is an undisputed fact... nothing to do with your ISP, just about every ISP forbids participating in such attacks, you are not the only one breaking your ISPs AUP by not blocking properlyand who flamed? certainly not me...?
so then, your ddos attacks on sites by redirectin mx users means you are JUST as guilty as i ty for clarifying that for me
which attacks would those be?only attacks i am aware of are users of hosts files who are not blocking (such as yourself) constantly attacking innocent users... i wonder how long it'll be until a pissed off winmx user starts sending off emails to the abuse departments for every hosts file users ISP with logs showing their participation in a distributed denial of service attack...of course there was an attack a while back where vladd tried to take down my servers using the update bar (his own admission), which caused little more than a short period of lag before i rectified the issue, but that was a while back so i doubt you're talking about that onealso several times it looks like the caches have been attacked however i can not prove anything there... just odd with things like the traffic to both servers suddenly increasing by 1000% at the exact time that sabre got really pissed off at being proven wrong... although of course what he forgot was that my servers have a rather large capacity so i only noticed it when i looked at the bandwidth graphs... but i doubt sabre has admitted his repeated failures so you're probably not talking about thator perhaps you are referring to vladds recent attempts to get all of the peer caches taken offline? or did he not tell you he is actively involved in their attempts to shut down winmx? guess he forgot to mention that part, perhaps he didn't realise that he sent that email from the wrong account so didn't know he had been busted, although i doubt that as i did send him the reply to that email using his mail address so he should have realised...and yes, if i were to run on primary without my patch blocking the flooders then i would also be participating in your attack and would be breaking my ISPs AUP, however i am not as dumb as you so i block them
ok KM, who only points fingers at everyone but himself in order to not take responsibility for his own actions, i was refering to how you Denied those pie users OF their connection to the network thru your caches (service) by changing your cache ip, (you could very well have emailed, myself, jim, Vladd, lol any number of pie members and failed to do so, knowing full well that pie doesn't visit any forum but V44 on a regular basis, you chose not to) so yes, you ARE just as guilty as i, don't play your holier than thou bullshit with me, it won't workeveryone in US using MX for the file sharing program that it is, by sharing copywritten material is breaking their contract with their isp, and you are helpin facilitate that by hosting a room, or operating a peer cache"No WinmxGroup servers operate in the US, we have no offices there or any reason for the US to claim legal jurisdiction over any of winmxGroups activities."this statement was made on this forum, and is only true to those users using your dll that aren't in the US. do try to keep up, k? thanx
are you as an official pie representative now claiming that pie are not responsible for their own actions and i am responsible for YOUR fuckups?who told users to use caches that do not exist? who told users to use an IP Address to reference a cache that did not have a fixed IP Address? "this car is currently on this road, so if you ever want to find the car look on this road".. yes, very useful when it drives off as you would expect it towho told users to use a static IP Address for a cache and then refused to inform users when the IP Address of the cache changed? it is YOUR responsibility to inform your users when you can not provide servers for them and instead reference other servers - btw i didn't see any "thanks to KM for keeping winmx running" messages in the creditsand are you now saying that pie has no responsibility for their users, it is my network and i am responsible for keeping an eye on things and contacting those users that you have hijacked? whose network is it? where is the "btw pie have nothing to do with the WPN, the WPN is kept running by KM" on the pie site?it is your responsibility to be aware of what is going on on winmx if you want to try to tell users what is happening, how can you claim to be able to advise users on winmx matters if you yourselves don't have a clue what is going on?however i know that you lot don't actually have a clue about anything (comments like "oh no blocking isn't needed, if the primaries are full we will still connect anyway" shows how much you lot know about common sense...) so i informed you of the IP changes of the caches even though it was completely your responsibility and not mine... the response? well you didn't do anything about it did you? no, you sat there talking about how you don't care and are not going to do anything about it, then all of a sudden "oh shit, that is a problem"... so you are now trying to pretend you didn't know about it, it doesn't matter how many times you try to say it, simply saying something over and over again doesn't change history, only a time machine can do thatwhen i chose to inform users about the changes i was acting purely to try and help the users, as you know i have no responsibility for your users however i tried to inform them anyway, you censored and refused to allow users to be informed of the fact that pie was fucked up and failing, and now try to blame me for your actions, that shows just how moronic you areas for the issue of an ISPs AUP... many users do break their ISPs AUP in regard to copyright, however that is a minor point, i was merely pointing out the stupidity of your claimsand as for claims that somehow i am breaking the law... for the 10,000th time - which law? if i am so clearly breaking the law then you shouldn't have any problem at all in telling me which law should you? and if you can't find any laws that i am breaking then i am not breaking any laws... makes sense? oh no i am breaking the law because a used car salesman said i am, the little fact of what is actually illegal or not is irrelevant, and law is what a used car salesman says not what the actual laws themselves say... right?

Posted: Thu Jun 01, 2006 1:31 am Post subject: change your hosts files -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you are using the latest mxpie v 2.9 host file, its time to edit it. the IPs of 2 of the peer cache servers have changed. 212.227.64.159 has been changed to 212.227.104.169 82.195.155.5 has been changed to 82.195.155.6
Posted: Thu Jun 01, 2006 6:40 am Post subject: re: change your hosts files -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can verify that it will become available an update of the PIE-patch and that we are aware of the issue. For the time being i can not give a date. Most likely there will be no other changes in the patch ifself (the way it works), just a simple update of the IP-adresses (the included hostsfile).
