Whist reading through this log I came across mention of a secret pie chat room, so much for pie being open, the stench of corruption is rife over there it seems and nazi tactics are in full swing in both rooms and on his forum, no doubt he will claim ignorance of it all.

I think folks perhaps we should embargo his site and room until he stops acting like a petty facist, vladd first winmx second it seems.

freon (a long time supporter of winmx) getting told to basically go away, he is not a winmxworld member (although we are friendly... lol)

Update: They are now using a cable modem to try to keep users online (LMAO) and have refused to use the winmxworld servers. It is nice to have the flooding leave the network, but unfortunately for all the ones using the pie patch this is gonna mean rare connection, and very much flooding of fake files because they will be totally unprotected now

We have also had a rush of people switching over to the winmxgroup.com patch so this is a positive step for the health of the network, at least for our network. Their new splintered off network is gonna have very little to search for (and that cable modem I suppose will catch fire from the ridiculous attempt at connecting their users).

unforutnately the network is not split, winmxgroup users are still protecting you from the flooders that you love so much

the single cache that you query on connecting does not suddenly mean you'll only connect to primary users who are querying that cache, otherwise there would already be lots of separate networks one for each cache depending on which one you randomly picked to connect

btw, when are pie going to do something about THEIR flooders? the pie admins themselves admit that they are hosting then flooders to attack the network "ah but i have several ISPs blocked in peer guardian, that's more useful than blocking flooders, so i won't block the flooders"... stupid morons is all i can say, and i personally would have no problem with picking up every one of their computers and throwing them off of very tall buildings just to keep those harmful macrovision employees like you from destroying winmx

my peer caches are free for anyone to use, the addresses of them are cache0-9.winmxgroup.com and cache-0.19.winmxgroup.net, those are the caches winmxgroup users are using, oh... i forgot, you can't direct queries to a cache, only to an IP Address... perhaps it's time you came up with a patch? hell if you released a patch you would finally be able to justify a version 1.0

the still are trying to blame km for their host files lack of support for its users.

 Im i right in saying that a host file will redrect  to a server and if that server is off line it goes to the next? If so then the only way rock's or km's being off line at any time should keep pie from connecting is becouse they have no servers? is this right?

 So all pie was doing is leach off km' and rock's servers and were doing nothing to help hold up the WPN. So with out km and rocks servers the pie host file was useless?

 Funny thing is people are sick of egos and the bash km and bash vladd that has been going on.

 All the real users care about is running a stable WinMX program and they have seen in the last week useing the pie host file is not stable.
 They want no fake files and they know running the pie host file they will have them in their search's.

 The people have seen that the DILL has worked in connecting people to the WPN all this week when the pie host file did not and those that yhave changed to the DILL this week see what its like to have a patch that is stable keeps up with the network and filters fake files and helps the WPN be stronger and they are telling their friends.

 So with Saber' servers (which are a pie host file server) harvesting IP's for what ever reason spam or to turn over to the RIAA anyones guess is as good as mine. And vladd's site plastered with scam P2P ad's
makeing money off WinMX. People are starting to ask is the money gone to vladd and pie's head and they are working to make WINMX a pay service?

 This week has shown a change in WINMX and its been for the better people are changeing to the DILL in numbers and now remember the WINMX of old STABLE  and Safe of Fake Files Welcome to all new members here and new users to the DILL patch welcome home and enjoy WinMX with out fear of not being able to connect and free of fake files in your search's.

took me 30 seconds to connect to MX this morning KM,(better than when FC was still the magic behind MX)  so..was your statement there a lie? or just unfounded facts?

im curious KM, your block list is updated how often?  and, if PG2 users are using the block list, the only way to have fakes on the network is if YOU are putting them there, or if YOU aren't keeping the block list updated, or am i wrong?

and tell the users here how you stated in V44 that you'd deny pie patch users access to your caches..plz..inform the users how your caches AREN'T available for anyone to use, only your dll users...plz..do inform them boy..errr...KM

and yes, many users are connecting to the WPN... it's always nice to know what patch you can trust to get ya connected..(that would be the pie patch especally now that KM's caches aren't being used) it's always been about gettin connected, but KM seems to never understand that ..pie has never denied access to caches, but KM sure did

indeed, users should be using a patch that they can trust them to get connected, not a text file that occasionally works for a bit

you yourself have admitted that even when you go and keep updating the text file it still takes you longer to connect than any patch user has to wait... for the record i have never had to wait more than about 5 or 6 seconds to connect on secondary using my patch, and i have not heard of anyone else waiting for longer (except a few dialup users reporting up to about 10 seconds)

however that is off topic, do you with to comment on your lies? "30 seconds is faster than 5" for example? perhaps you wish to comment on the posts you have deleted? i especially want to hear your excuse for why when a poster says they have solved their problem you delete it and say "you fixed your problem like this" when they did not...

also waiting for an explanation on why 2.9 users were completely abandoned by pie and left sitting there being told they can not use winmx because winmx is fucked up

btw, how long do you think it'll be before your that cache fails (again) and your users are left unconnected? and what will you do about it? considering if it goes offline it won't actually be possible for you to tell users about it even if you tried (as the update bar would also go offline)... however i doubt you'd use the update bar if you could, you've already shown you have no desire to tell users how to connect when they are unable to

btw, for the record yesterday (the first day where i was telling 2.9 users how to get back online) there were twice as many downloads of 3.0 than there would have been otherwise... quite a lot of users who had no idea how to connect to winmx that you would have otherwise just left there with a broken winmx and refused to help
