You use the winmxworld blocklist to prevent fakes from coming on your searches, you don't know how to update it.... Plus, you then crib about fake files coming on your searches because, YOU didn't update your lists. You then claim that the winmxworld list in a peice of crap.
WELL, THEN GO MAKE YOUR OWN LIST. Then mabye you will be happy.

You don't become a team member, just because you use the blocklist from this site to block fakes. YOU DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION.
IF YOU DO HAVE AN OPTION, THEN USE GO USE THAT BLOCKLIST AND THEN HAPPLIY CRITICISE ABOUT THIS BLOCKLIST.

STOP BEING A DOG IN THE MANGER.

Unique ( a pie team member ) spoke to me regarding the lack of an update as he was concerned and I informed him of the situation and our commitment to ALL users requiring the Blocklist, let me make clear that if there are no new flooding IP,s to block then the list does not need updating, the last 3 days have seen no new numbers appear.
For this we are more than happy but Macrovision are expected to change tactics and bring some new ones into play soon.

Please just ask.

Lover girl, the reason the fakes are coming up is that you aren't running a patch for WinMX. PG doesn't filter fake results, it only blocks the flooders from connecting to you. And as a pro pie member, you should have the knowledge and understanding of the WPN to know that the flooders don't connect directly to you, but to other pie users. Therefore, you will either be receiving the results from the primary you are connected to if you are on secondary, and from the pie primaries if you are on primary. No results are received directly from the flooder's IP.

By installing the WinMX patch from www.winmxgroup.com, it will automatically filter fake results, as well as blocking them from connecting to you, because the patch has the ability to monitor and modify data before it's sent to your WinMX.. unlike pie.... which doesn't have the ability to do anything....
Also when a new peer cache is set up or an old one is removed, you won't have to come back and update, it's all done automatically. You will never have problems connecting to or using WinMX again.

No need for the extra cluttering with installing a broken MX, then the text file, then PG, then add the winmxworld blocklist, and even after all that mess, you'll have a more successful MX by getting this one file: https://www.winmxgroup.com/Install-3.0-MultiVer.exe and installing it.
What more can you ask for?
Do you in the pie team believe that MX was supposed to be unreliable, slow and s**t after the old caches went down? maybe it was for the few first days of testing, when we only had hosts files to get connected as a temporary solution.
KM has showed us something else, he's providing an MX that has more features than the official MX before the plug was pulled on the caches.
What more can you ask for?
Just because he outclassed the pie team in every way doesn't mean he's trying to monopolise MX. He's just providing a better solution than you guys are. That's all. If someone else decided to start working on a new WinMX client, a new patch, their own cache servers etc, then they are welcome to do it, providing their fix does its bit at saving the network, unlike pie..

like i said, if it's not updating, then im doing all i can - cuz i won't put KMware on my pc. also i'll repeat, when KM f**ks you with the dll, pie will be here

Lovergirl,

I'll try not to make this sound flamish.. however if you have legitimate questions concerning the block list or fake files I would suggest asking those in the appropriate threads..

I will be and have been more then happy to answer any questions about it there. Your also free to pm me here on site with questions if your worried about the flaming.. this is a thread I hardly visit as its about the posts of legitimate users on Vladds site being deleted by Love, which I think you can agree shes gone a bit over board on.. but as you say.. when in Rome.. As you appearently are unaware KM is not responsible for maintaining the Block List hes in charge of making sure his patch users are updated by my updates.
The list itself is another dept.. so to speak.

Seriously and I hope you dont take this the wrong way but i dont know if your just trying to make trouble or ask some serious questions about some issues with the block list. I have offered many times on V's site and here to inform about it so please dont belittle yourself to such name calling and accusations about KM.. if you want some answers then ask the right folks.
