if you are having problems with your entire internet connection dropping for some unknown reason while running ouka or after having run ouka, update to latest version just released (560b - links in GhostShip's post above mine)

I was having probs all through the month of August that were so bad my isp replaced my modem/router because it kept resetting itself...which didn't help any. It still kept resetting. I didn't think it was Ouka that was causing the trouble because it still happened even when Ouka wasn't running.

But as soon as I updated Ouka, my probs disappeared like magic and my connection is fine now.

Nobby was right...last version was really bad. Some major bug in it.

So if you are having any funny connection probs, try this new version out.

I just started using ouka today and I have a couple questions. Can you only use one text format for each access level? and I have yellow <> at left of the screen when i add a motd How can I get rid of that?

The <> stuff is always infront of the Ouka motd. I've always found that odd...But it makes it easy to see what server it is.

Hi Ninko, I would hazzard a guess that its a rudimentry form of bandwidth limiting, I looked at the function you mentioned and found it can only be set to a maximun of 65535, this suggest 64k as the total that it can handle traffic wise.

Thats exactly what I found Ninko but to be honest I cant say 100% thats the case until I have a busy test room and then give it a try
