i want to use ouka but when i try to open it it says The SERVER.EXE file is linked to a missing export SHELL32.DLL:StrlA

Not really sure but you could try putting the Shell32.dll inside the folder containing the Server.exe file that could help. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IGCK431X Copy that url into your browser and it will take you to a website where you can download the file.

Also a new version of Ouka's Chat Server is available:

That command overwrites the original node information (82.195.155.5) and tries connecting to the specified <IP:TCPPORT>
That will be the first node that the server tries to connect to.
(This is for establishing a primary connection to the WPN)

However with this method if the specified MX room doesn't have a primary connection it is not possible to connect.*

If the specified <IP:TCPPORT> is invalidated then returning to the original node (82.195.155.5) is as follows:
#admincmd setfirstnodeoff

Because 09_27_1200 versions acquire node information at the connection destination when the first connection is made, it is possible because of the crowded condition that the original node will not connect easily.

*I assume this means you can set any channel host's IP and use them to get on the WPN since they're already a primary. In other words bypassing the cache servers altogether.

rather than using a fixed IP Address that will change soon (i will deliberately be changing it once i have a decent patch made, to encourage people to stop using the modified hosts file) a DNS lookup should be done... i hope to keep those hostnames set to working peer caches, currently those hostnames point to my peer cache (except 2 that go to TSC's cache) however once more caches are online the hostnames will be updated to the new caches...

The Welcome Message never seems to be saved when you shut the server down, it loads up with the default Welcome Message. Not sure if its meant to do that or not

Can shed some light on it for ya mate

Three bugs I know that where fixed are replace words werent working if colours where in the word you wanted replaced, the /kickip was fixed as it was putting an extra dot at the end of it and also fixed a bug when a user was on mute and they logged in they where still subject to the mute command.
