Sorry for the delay with this posting, was out of town  :(  but a few others spotted this release, cheers to the CricketMx folks  8)

http://ouka.dip.jp/ChatServerE_520d_2005_11_18_1900.zip

This version is a test release so dont rush to upgrade yet  :)

The messages for /help and /server can now include colors.
(Ouka only mentioned those two specifically, but from the default settings he gave looks like you can add colors to most/all? customizable notice)

Add the following if you want to update RCMSconf.txt. If you're one of the folks who doesn't customize anything then just use the RCMSConf.txt that's provided in the zip file.

$HiddenListStart$="#c4#Listing Hidden user:"
$HiddenListEnd$="#c5#Hidden user listing complete."
$HiddenListNotify$="There is no Hidden user."

$IgnoreListStart$="#c5#Listing Ignore user:"
$IgnoreListEnd$="#c5#Ignore user listing complete."
$IgnoreListNotify$="There is no Ignore user."

$AdminListStart$="#c4#Listing Admin user:"
$AdminListEnd$="#c5#Admin user listing complete."
$AdminListNotify$="There is no Admin."

$PrimaryListStart$="#c4#Listing Primary Link:"
$PrimaryListEnd$="#c5#Primary Link listing complete."
$PrimaryListNotify$="There is no Primary Link."

$BansListStart$="#c4#Listing Banned user and associated IPs:"
$BansListEnd$="#c5#Banned user listing complete."
$BansListNotify$="There is no Banned user."

$ClearDelayNotify$="PenaltyList Cleared"
$ClearBansNotify$="BansList Cleared"

$SetVirtualUser$="Set Virtual User"

A Big thanx goes to Protoman for an excellent translation and as always a BIG thank you to Ouka  8)

Here we are again with another release and an interesting one at that  :)

http://ouka.dip.jp/ChatServerE_530a_2005_11_27_1300.zip

Quote
#admincmd /setuserlevel <user> <1-6>
/setuserlevel <user> <1-6>

1 exclusion person (Leech)
2 users (User)
3 users (User)
4 quasi- managers (Moderator)
5 managers (Admin)
6 quasi- sponsors (CoHost/Elite)

This one seems to be a test release with this command and a client version was released also today to match it  :)

Cheers Ouka  8)

A small bug note I read on the site that hosts Oukas programs

Quote
In the present English edition the half angle space (' ') if included in the user IDentification, modification command of level "parameter is illegitimate".
/setuserlevel, the number of level is not recognized

Hmm, so as long as you dont use spaces it must be ok, interesting note though, no doubt Ouka is working on it  :)

My Ouka keeps updating and re-downloading ChatServerE_520d_2005_11_19_1900.zip  over, and over, and over, and over.   Glad I found the new one here!  ;-]

New Ouka out again folks  :D

Test version
Language.txt is no in the text file in order to modify the character string. Default.dat is the text file of initializing. Unless there is this file, the menu and the like becomes blank. At the time of version rise, there are times when the character string which is added anew has entered in this file.

Hmm very useful for other languages I,m sure  :)

I see he has reported a bug to that may affect /setdeflevel

So please dont upgrade to this server unless your the sort of user who likes testing and finding bugs  :)

Cheers Ouka and Merry Xmas from all here at WinMxWorld  8)

Quote
The server is currently changing substantially

Just a quick question, what are the different powers between MODERATOR, ADMIN, COHOST and HOST?

Thanks :)

I,m not sure myself yet NInka, it may just have to do with the colour formats listed above but I am thinking that Ouka is going to introduce a newer admin system soon, as some of the comments on his site are leaning towards that end.

I will get some tests done and hopefully come back with more answers , I do not run Ouka at the moment (I like to test all servers one after the other), so give me a few days, if anyone else knows feel free to jump in here  :)

Hi there,
I have just upgraded to the lastest Ouka Server, and have had problems with the tag colours the same as some others, I have read what you posted about it GhostShip, but I don't understand how thats meant to work as it doesn't include%NAME%, nor the tags you wish to use eg < and >?

Hmm , this one has some odd bits with it  :?

Quote
When there is test version trouble and demand etc., communication. When "/server" it appoints to MOTD, Motd.aat inside the folder of Server.exe (txt) it indicates. 128 letter ×32 lines (non is indicated the line which includes with /server) the prescribed form please refers to Motd.aat.

As you can see the online translator is not so hot today
It looks like when you type /server in, it diverts from using the intenal lookup to the new Motd.aat file found in the folder which contains this :

Quote
/server "/server" is not displayed in the log.
/server It is displayed up to 128 character ~32 lines.

This message is read from text file (Motd.aat).
