I hope you can see how vladd and others can make a simple to operate filter if he so chooses , one ad might creep through I hear pie folks claim but look up at the pictures there are two ads there.

The pay for winmx advertisements on the pie site are a disgrace, vladds own site is his own affair, that he chooses to have winmx ads as he does simply means he is after the 15% of each user ripped off.

Just to set the record straight, google do offer a filter system for their ads HOWEVER you dont get to block keywords, you have to block each specific site as it comes on and manually, this takes some time, first you must spot the ad, and dont forget they change frequently, and change page to page often, once spotted you might copy the URL log onto the google account then add that URL to the fliter. The process itself is simple, the results however are a little unpredictable especially with scam sites as the URLs change regularly. plus ofc even once in the filter it can take sometime to actually be filtered out:

Much as I want to I cant let this subject drop so easily, this is something we have mentioned before as a legitimate concern and action only seems to take place when a complaint is raised, does vladd seroiusly still support the winmx community and if so I advise him to review other options to obtain revenue other than placing ads on the pie site.

I did read originally that the pie site was soleys for the use of the pie team, it seems this too is not even true as the pie team has no costs and does not need the advertisements.

the pie scam site on mxpie.com has been there since... well, i was going to say how many days it existed before it saved winmx, but what date did you say pie saved winmx again?

there are many scam sites, and i have never supported any of them, many have been selling my bandwidth anyway and guess what? they aren't any more... or at least most of them aren't

The users of WinMX over the last week have seen how out dated the use of a host file is. The lack of stability , the lack of fake file filtering and really the lack of Pie servers.
The war on Km by The PIE has become a joke in the MX world, all we care about is a stable program and no fake files . The two things the Pie Host file cant give its users.If it could we could not shut you up from telling people.

But all you can do is Fear Monger and block others from knowing that Pie has / had no servers to hold its users,and you were useing KM and rock's servers to let pie host file users connect to the WPN.
If you had servers the host file users would never had a moment of down time let alone 3 days. If any hijacking has been going on its been the use of Km and rocks servers by pie .

People are switching fast to the DILL even 3rd party programers are starting to drop support for the pie host file users becouse its a looseing battle.

Case in point from the forum of vladd44 but dont look for it now its been Deleted from fear of the truth.
