Hi. Does anybody know how to unwrap a file that has the _ALBWUGO.mp3 file? I've tried albumwrap but it won't work

Any ideas? Thanks

There are some other tools & tutorials here https://www.winmxworld.com/tutorials/album_tools.html one of those might do the trick, I'm no audio expert, maybe someone who is would be able to tell you which one, all I can suggest is try until you find one that works.

Thanks for the reply - I tried Track Wrapper and it didn't work, then I tried AlbaExtractor and it did - Hip Hip Hooray

There are some other tools & tutorials here https://www.winmxworld.com/tutorials/album_tools.html one of those might do the trick, I can't vouch from experience any of them working or otherwise on vista as I don't have it, but it must be worth trying, perhaps you could try them out & post back what works & what has problems?

Incidentally what's the issue with Albumwrap?

Albumwrap-files are highly sensitive to changes in their mp3-tags - extraction failures are mostly caused by wmp or any other software with autotagging-functionality. Albwfix and/or Alba-Extractor can solve this problem.

Those two tools are already listed but it seems the albwfix tool is no longer at the listed address, I,ll look into the legalities of hosting it here locally.
