OMG! We no longer need a patch for WinMX!!!!!!

Although the rest of us were unaware, it seems one of the pie people discovered there is no need for a patch for winmx!  Somehow he reconnected winmx even though it normally points to winmx.com and winmx.com is no longer running. The rest of us are under the impression that we need a patch to connect because winmx will not find any active servers at WinMX.com....

you don't need to use the patch, hosts files can also be used as a botch job to get connected as they were for the first few days - but that is of course outdated and a crappy way to try and connect

but under no stretch of the imagination is that even remotely considered a patch...? I'm confused... how can you call a hosts file a patch? only people I know of that have tried to do that are the mxlie morons..

I have a usb troll doll named Love Dragon i plug into my network card to allow me to connect to the WPN,  it half ass works one part gives me bad data and the other half deletes it ,  but after updateing it with the DILL it works great .

Not that i usually find myself in this dilema.. but.. OMG.. hes right.. on occasion on secondary you dont need a patch.. works a bout as good as a hosts file tho.. lol
