hi all, was wondering if anyone could tell where the room list is downloaded from. the ip or url, thanks

the channel list is loaded in the same way as search results by searching the network, not by downloading it from a central server

it's packed with some other stuff to make use of the script - it's main purpose being to provide a list for web chat

and no that one is not open source, if you are looking to make a program them i suggest you first get to know how the network operates, there are a few things on the forum (including all of the protocol encryption and brief explanation of handshakes) that might be useful

decrypt? it's done in the form of a php script - no encryption, although you would need to urldecode the contents for other programs to use it... really though it's meant to be used for a list of chat rooms on a website hence the php script output, and the url encoding is purely because php hates some of the symbols in channel names
