Downloads and Uploads fail to connect all the time.

I am running WinmX 3.54 beta4 (not using OPennap) I use the upnp feature to open the ports on my router (Zyxel) . No software firewall, Win2K with latest patches.

Connect as secondary, search OK, but every download and upload fails with Timeout waiting for incoming connection.

Any ideas?

Come by the help room and let us test there.. its much easier to diagnose this type of problem in 'real time' over MX..

Just copy this address into your filter bar (be sure you dont accidently copy any additional spaces after it) and then click Join.. if you dont get an asnwer right away in there be patient and wait for us to get around.. we all are just volunteering our time so i cant make them be there 24/7.. lol

thanks for all the help in the channel. nothing you suggested worked. i have now gone back to my previous modem, surecom, but that has not changed the problem, so i think it must be something to do with my isp blocking traffic. is there any way to get winmx to use ssl to defeat proxies?
