WinMX.com domain now WinMX Group owned?

When did WinMX Group purchase www.winmx.com (away from MXPie)? I assume it wasn't just stolen.


For no real reason a few minutes ago I went to WinMX.com. Much to my surprise, I saw that the page was no longer the black background with yellow hyperlinkless text to the other patch. It is now linking to the WinMX Group page!

When did this happen? I suppose without the software's old official website linking to the other patch it means even less business for them and more here.

Sorry if this is not the right forum to post this, but it seemed like news to me.

I don't think that anyone has bought it. It must still be with frontcode. In my case, it just doesn't display anything. Just says "page not found"

The pages pointing to mxpie or winmxgroup is just a modifed host file.

Oh. Duh.

So when I changed from the Pie patch to this one that is what made the change. I should have thought of that. I will go crawl under a rock now.
