i had 2 format my pc ,so i saved my incomplete files too disk so i could reload and start downloading again when the pc was up and running again. problem is some of the incomplete vid files that i put back on the hd dont show up in my list so i cant finish them from where i left off. can anyone help ???

Jonty,
They should be placed into your Incoming Files Folder, once they are in that folder you should be able to go to the transfers screen and click load incompletes and they should show up...

I say should because it sounds like you DID and got some of them to work.. if thats the case its possible they are corrupted and WInMX cant read them as incompletes...

Let me know if this works...

yeah thats what i did so you are probably right . i just cant understand why i can watch them and also share them but cannot get it to recognise them so i can finish them.... anyway thanks heaps for at least trying too help me out .....

did you burn them to a cdr? if so, maybe the filename was truncated to 64 characters.

theres a program that could fix that but i cant remember the URL
the same guy made something called TRUNK that was a missmatch trimmer if you dint that you'll find his site (was ringlord or something)

you should be able to still resume them if you search then select manualy download (and browse to the file)

that is if they get winmx back up and running : /

thanks everyone..... have worked it out now but cant blody connect ..like most of us ive tried all the patches .... hope they can make it simple for those people like me that r .... lol .....
