Cancelling people if they don't come into rooms of their choice is bad.
Not uploading to anyone who is not in their room is bad.
Start me only then i'll start you is bad

I am strictly not referring to the people who fit into the above categories. In short I am not talking in about traders. Nor do I condone their actions.

But inviting you to come to their room so that they will give you a jump in their queue and just parking up while the file is getting downloaded is not bad.
I personally won't equate it "to come to my room or kiss the file goodbye".
People who issue such invites also upload to everyone else as well. Just that they wll give you a bump if you stay in their room while you downlaod from them. Plus even if I don't reply or say,"no thank you I'll wait" I haven't been cancelled from their queues.

I have frequently been chucked out of queues and even ignored for saying I don't want to go into a room following those invites. but I have now got to the stage where I think its their choice not to u/l to me and therefore my choice not to u/l to them I know which Rooms and members are the worst offenders some of them are now on autoblock I got fed up with the abuse I got when I told them if they didn't let outsiders d/l from them why should we let them have access to our files. But thats basically a side issue to the people who hace their MX for the 0 of 0 people like JaMeS who do it to run their rooms and don't try to d/l from others thats fine, it's their prefered choice but to try to justify it that way and still try to get files from others is completely out of order IMHO or perhaps not so humble I can get on My high horse over non sharers I must admit.

path501 Lets put it another way why should I or any one else make files available to you when you don't return the same to us. I also pay a great deal of money for my service ISP and a pay d/l site from where I bring things into winmx i have also hosted rooms in the past I no longer do because I dont have the same u/l speed that I used to have T1 down to Cable and I have never refused to u/l to people who didn't want to come to my room in fact never asked people the room was there for people to use and enjoy.

I do not refused anyone a start, if they ask, then more times then not, i am happy to oblige, i don't care if they park in my room or not.

and as for you paying for your isp, i do that plus pay for a server, lol...I do this mostly for my members, but I also have to take control over my
bandwidth, so i do not have anything more coming out of my pocket....metered bandwidth is not fun if you go over the limit

and as for having 100 in que, I always have that...even if i have 30 uploads going, my que always looks like a runaway train wreck, lol.

and as far as you seeing me in your que, or anyone else's que, don't hold your breath, I use winmx as a vehicle to distribute, not to get files from

Winmx Is a great community...the people, for the most part are wonderful....It was were I started a long time ago, and will never be able to leave it!
