couple of questions

Hello everyone,
I just recently installed winmx and my daughters have been "successfully" downloading music. I created an in coming and out going (shared) file in c/: like the tutorial said. I opened the firewall in XP as per the tutorial. I made settings to winmx as per "settings" in the tutorial. I put my "shared" file in my library so folks can up load from me.
Question 1
I noticed , before I made "any" changes to anything, just using the original d/l winmx, I was getting d/l's and saw u/l's on my transfers page. Since I made changes, I have yet to see anyone up load from me. How do I know for sure that people can? I see all my files in the library folder when opened in winmx. Is it just a coincedence? I don't want to be a "leech" 
Question 2
How long does (should) a normal length movie take to d/l? Hours? days? weeks?  These are the first movies I've tried. So far, a couple of days produced about 20% of each. I'm only trying 2. I have read all the tutorials of tips and how too's and I'm pretty sure I'm doing it correctly.
Am I expecting too much too fast? I have a DSL connection.

You can ask someone to try uploading off you, we are friendly bunch and someone will be more than willing to help

Question 2

The downloads of movies are dependant on the person you are downloading off, To get faster speeds you need more scources.
I personally would recomend that you find a movie room to join. The reason for this is you will find alot of peeps like to share with peeps that have the latest files, but by joining a movie group when they know your new they will gladly share with you letting you get uptodate files to share with others giving you a better chance of getting files lol Simple hay
