When i set my bandwidth throttle to what winmx world tells me to after the test thing it changes to another setting of #'s when i close it y???? how can i fix that or do i? /0\ :shock:

bandwith changes back only if you set it lower than the minimum as far as i know

as far as im aware those numbers that you set wont change as long as the tick box is ticked on the bandwidth throttle page.  For example I could set mine to 400000K but doesnt mean that is what will be delivered.  Because its based on the line speeds I get from my ISP. 

Im as puzzled as you about it.. to my knowledge there is no way they would just change by themselves in that settings box..

try deleting settings.dat in the winmx program folder, you'll have to run through the setup wizard when you subsequently start winmx, but occasionally the file becomes corrupt & the program won't write to it properly, this will cause it to recreate the file & *may* cure the issue
