i just recently made a home page and i wanted to know if it was ok to put a link to here i am an amature at this so im just learning the site has been done viva notepad (html) etc etc am proud of it even tho it is some small paffetic thing compared to most sites but i wanted to link winmxworld and valad44 as i never in a million years would of got anywhere if it wasnt for u guys and your help and i think linking it is my way of showing appreciation for all the help hope you dont mind

There is no problem to linking anywhere on the site frontapage, tutorials, archive etc , infact the only area we try not to encourage linking to is the forum as folks like a little privacy with their thoughs

it only a very small site just need to spend some time on it i want to have a section of it dedicated to mx but it will take me a lot of time due to am a novice and doing the site that old way (type every bloody thing) long slow and painfull then i look at souce of here and think jeeeez must of took ages to get it the way it is now i hope that i can bring my site more about winmx shorty still warking on it thanks for reply

i dont know if this will be much help but i have desided to do a page for the winmx part of my site that will have screen shots and a quick tutorial of the host file and where to put it etc etc i noticed many were confused on it i shall see if i can get some breif notes on how to use winmx goodies too try help out as much as poss if there is any ideas im open to all ideas i just want to be able to help a bit more than just sittin around looking at people wanting help and many going over the same thing repetitivly i hope some of my idea can be seen viva the site and ope they can help im still an novice lol so as for forums etc etc thats way above me so i'll try make something simple like tutorials with screenshots to help people know what i mean with what is said on the site i am anxious to help in anywich way i can thanks to page tutor for helpin with learning about the site config i hope i can somehow get some stuff worth helping

how can i change a bitmap image to a giff file and do u know of a free program to do this with thanks very much

I use Paint to convert my bmp's to anyother format.. works for a .gif also

i see u was after a metis tutorial i may be able to make a novice tutorial for metis but not exactly pro style metis coding but i could make an amature tutorial
