can't connect to winmx with vista

I just viewed Debbie's message and I seem to be having the same problem as she.  I deleted the file  under winMx that Debbie was told to delete but I can't follow the link given, I keep getting a message saying an error occured.  Please help

i tried the link there too and i seemed not to have acces there group.com seemd offline to me today(not sure whats wrong there) and my copy and paste funtion will not work at the moment
