'Tis GREEAAAT! I like the site, its help, and its people. I use when I happen to have problems and send others here as it is a great place to send people to and saves me the time and trouble of typing on MX itself

Keep up the good work and if I can do anything to contribute outside of whatever I do on my own, just lemme know

Thanx Karet , to save typing in the room was the idea behind many of the tutorials, although it helps now and again to keep the regulars on their toes..lol

Anything you think might be helpful is always welcome, if you see a gap or something you think should be covered to inform folks let us know, or type up something yourself for inclusion on a tutorials page

OKs, heres the thing: im setting up a website (ill be sure to link to you guys)

Wot I would like to know is if any of you masterminds know how to set up a link so I can post my roomname on the site and a prog like robo-crawler could give the link??

Any help is much appreciated and i realise this probably isnt the right place for this post...

humm interesting question,, and ermm I am not sure there is a place that is 'just right' for it so this looks as good as any.. lol

So, let me make sure I have this straight...
Your wanting a program that allows you to put your room name on your website then allows folks to click on it and get your room via the webbrowser .. ??

Nushi has a WPN listing program that KM has made a script for, you can get that from KingMacro. Just look for WPN Lister on that page.

Maybe you can use the Applet included to link directly to your room..

As you say, a metis script like Robo-crawler or RoboMX will allow you to link to a website.

if you just want to update the name when your IP Address changes you can write a simple server side script that finds your IP Address (easiest way is by using a hostname from dyndns/no-ip/etc) then generates the name from that, but of course that causes other problems if you have multiple hosts
